Zimpal lets you carry on while it carries all

Our aim is that Zimpal Improves the quality of life of users by increasing independence, improving mental health, building confidence and reducing accidents and falls.

If you have limited mobility, Zimpal means a little more freedom and independence around your home – a helping hand when you need it most.
No more need to take risks while you try to carry one item at a time back and forth between rooms. Now everything can be transported safely in one go.
Whether you need a short term solution while you recover from injury or a long term solution Zimpal is designed to give you that extra little bit of help and independence that makes all the difference.
You can transport a meal or a snack and a drink from the kitchen to the dining area in a single journey, and have important things like your phone, glasses, inhaler or tablets close-at-hand at all times.
Zimpal also comes with a mug and a glass that fit neatly into the holders and a lid to avoid spillages so it’s safe and easy to use. The carefully thought out design and secure door let you transport small items safely within the tray.
The inspiration for Zimpal has been very much a family affair
Reduced mobility meant Christine’s grandfather had to use a walking frame. This impacted on his independence and his mental health.

Christine’s father George, a coach builder, was determined to design a product to help prevent older people falling, improve their quality of life and maintain their independence - and came up with the prototype for Zimpal, a lightweight enclosed tray that fits to a range of walking frames. It comes with a mug and a glass that fit into the holders and a lid to avoid spillages. Zimpal enables walking frame users to transport small items safely within the tray.

Christine’s determined to see her father’s vision realised and to ensure Zimpal helps as many walking frame users as possible she’s going to gift one Zimpal for every one that’s purchased to reach as many people as she can.
